Support-O Support-O

Somebody says good morning. You answer with one button.

Support-O is a daily check-in for older adults and anyone living alone. If the morning goes unanswered, the people you chose receive a text, so nobody waits days to find out something is wrong.

The whole app is one button a day

Good morning

At the time you choose, your phone says good morning by name, with two gentle reminders if you are busy.

Tap THANK YOU

One large button, in the same place every day. That is the entire job. Nothing else is required of you.

Silence is noticed

If it goes unanswered for the time you set, the people you chose get a short text so they can check on you.

Built for the person using it

The Support-O kitten and puppy

Large, plain and calm

Big type, big buttons, no menus to learn, no accounts or passwords, no advertising. The same screen every morning.

Your medications, your photographs

Keep each medicine with your own pictures of the front and back of the pill, the times, the days and whether food matters.

Exercise and water, if you want them

Whatever your doctor or physical therapist asked for, in their words, and the daily water goal they recommended.

Your medicines stay on your phone

Your medication list, the pill photographs, your exercises and your water goal never leave the handset. Our server keeps only what it needs to text your family if a morning goes unanswered: your first name, your time zone, your morning time, how long to wait, your language, your contacts' names and numbers, and whether the button was pressed today. Nothing about your health is sent anywhere. See the privacy notice.

A look at the app

Nine languages

Support-O is fully translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish and Greek, including the message your family receives, which is sent in the language the person using the app reads.

What Support-O is not. It is not a medical device, a monitoring service or an emergency service, and it cannot promise that a message will be sent or delivered: phones get switched off, batteries die and networks fail. If you have not heard from someone, go and check on them. That has always been the only thing that truly works.

Availability

Support-O runs on Android phones and is in testing now, ahead of release on Google Play and the App Store. Want to try it, or hear when it is out? Get in touch.
